The idea for the “Dream” illustration first came to me while I was visiting my hometown Kaunas in Lithuania. I had been experimenting with semi-surrealistic approaches in my art, inspired by the movies and exhibitions I had seen.
Fortunately, a few months later, my work was selected by The Guardian editorial team to be featured in the "The Art of Activism" multi-artist exhibition at The Printspace in London, after I submitted it to a competition. I am grateful for this amazing opportunity and am excited to share my art with a wider audience.
